The Blue Planet in Concert

Thursday 13 February 2020

An unforgettable visual and musical journey through the wildest and most beautiful parts of our blue planet.

The Blue Planet in Concert is a journey in our oceans. We meet both friendly and less friendly creatures, and at the same time celebrate the beauty and color splendor of the mysterious oceans and coral reefs. This is a live film production with specially edited footage from the BBC's legendary series, and with George Fenton's majestic and moving original music. Join us as the cameras dive into the open seas to explore the vast and hidden life deep down there. Join us under the ice or into the warm coral seas.

The evening's conductor, George Fenton, is one of Britain's most successful and award-winning composers and has written music for a number of films and TV series, including Cry Freedom, Gandhi and the crime series Bergerac.

The concert lasts approx. 90 minutes and performed with a full symphony orchestra playing live to the film shown on the big screen.
