Workshop concert with composition students from the Grieg Academy with a total of five premieres and madrigals by Monteverdi.

This winter, students from the Grieg Academy in the Grieg Academy's composition class composed choral pieces in response to madrigals by Monteverdi. They wrote the pieces for the Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble, and had a week's workshop with them. The five steaming fresh pieces are interspersed with a bit of Monteverdi.
