The Alpine Symphony
Thursday 07 April 2022
We are invited to the world premiere of a new work by one of Britain's leading composers, and get to join us on a spectacular and adventurous mountain tour in Richard Strauss' gigantic Alpine symphony.
In the mountain-loving Richard Strauss's masterfully orchestrated and spectacular tone poem, we are taken on a day's mountain tour; from night, via sunrise, waterfalls and flower meadows, to the top of the mountain, thunderstorms and sunset.
